| God is Good - Zodiacs get their first National Champion since Mr. Taylor retired. Aaliyah Wajid won the Youth Girls 4K (2.5 mile) run. Plus we had outstanding runs by Jacqueline Kendall, who finish in 14th place in the Sub-bantam Girls 3K (1.8 miles) run and Darius Gordon, who finish in 21st place in the Midget Boys 3K (1.8 miles) run. To finish to the top 25 in the country is a great accomplishment. The entire team ran some outstanding times and most beat their previous personal best times. They were: Alix Scott, Adrian Swift-Henry, Giovanna Tolbert, Josephine Kendall, Ralph Escobar, Xavier Wajid, Pearl Webster-Rutledge, Joseph Webster-Rutledge and Reina Wajid. This was a great experience for all the children. They met athletes from all over the country, a chance to compete at Wide World of Sports, in Orlando Fl. and spend quality time with family and teammates |
